STORY

When I ask people which of my dad’s songs they like the most, “She gives me water” comes out a winner. It’s also one of my favourites.

The lyrics are strong. They leave these imagines imprinted in your mind without giving the whole story away.

I love how laid-back and bluesy Rob’s version was and how energetic and retro soul inspired mine has become.
